Super 8 Skateboard Company is an independent, Texas-rooted board brand built on two lifelong obsessions: skateboarding and film. Based in Frisco, Texas, and proudly 100% made in the USA, Super 8 Skateboard Company crafts decks for every kind of rider — street, big terrain, freestyle, and vert.

The company was founded by a skater, skate photographer, and filmer who has lived and breathed skateboarding for more than four decades. The name itself is a tribute to where it all began. As a kid in the late '70s, the founder received two gifts that would shape his life: his first skateboard and a Super 8 movie camera. Decades later, while shooting a skate team with a Super 8 camera in hand, the name clicked into place — a fusion of the two passions that defined his childhood.

What started partly as a way to teach his own kids how to run a business quickly grew into something bigger. Today, Super 8 decks aren't just ridden — collectors buy them to hang on their walls. Much of that collectibility comes from the brand's standout artwork. Super 8 has built an ongoing collaboration with renowned artist Tim Baron, producing a growing catalog of classic monster- and horror-inspired graphics spanning dozens of characters across multiple signature series, plus pro models, shaped decks, freestyle decks, matching griptape, and blacklight posters.

Manufacturing stays close to home, with every deck produced in Texas — a reflection of the brand's deep respect for the state's rich skate heritage. That same spirit shows up in the team. Super 8 backs pro rider Will Cortez, an Olympic-level competitor and coach, alongside a roster of pro skaters that includes Greg Pachell, Ronan Livingston, Alex Mauer, and new pro Greg Williams. Rounding out the squad is an amateur and flow team featuring Kaleb Salais, Logan Brown, Lulu Johnson, and Zayne Zehren.
