Something’s lurking on top of your board.
The bottom of your deck gets all the art, and the top gets a black rectangle. The Gillman Griptape fixes that. Tim Baron’s Gillman crawls out of the lagoon and across a full sheet of grip, so your setup looks like a creature feature from both sides.
It’s printed on Jessup Ultragrip, the tape skaters have trusted for decades, so it isn’t a novelty sheet that goes bald in a week. It locks your feet in, lays down clean, and trims easy.
At a full 10" wide, it covers the big shapes too, with room to trim. Pair it with a Gillman deck for the full monster treatment, or slap it on whatever you’re riding and let the creature loose.

How to apply it
- Peel the backing and line the graphic up where you want it before you commit.
- Lay it down from the center out, pressing out bubbles as you go.
- Score the edge of the deck with a file or screwdriver shaft to mark your cut line.
- Trim with a fresh razor blade, then sand the edges with a scrap piece of grip.
- Poke your hardware holes from the top and bolt up.
A heads up on printed grip
Graphic griptape wears where your feet live. The art will fade and scuff in your stance over time, which is normal.
FAQ
Will this fit my board? One sheet is 10" x 33", so it covers standard popsicles, shaped decks, and wide boards up to 10". For anything longer than 33", measure first.
Does printed grip hold as well as plain black? Yes. It’s Jessup Ultragrip under the ink, so you’re getting real skate grip.
Does it come installed? No. The sheet ships on its own and we don’t install grip, so you’ll be applying it yourself. The steps above walk you through it, and it takes about ten minutes.
