Will Cortez Acta Non Verba Pro Model Skateboard Deck — Tim Baron Art | Team Mexico | Super 8 Skateboard Co.

Deeds, not words. The Will Cortez Acta Non Verba Pro Model was Will Cortez's first pro model on Super 8, designed in collaboration with graphic artist Tim Baron — and the name says everything about the rider. Acta non verba, Latin for "deeds not words," is the motto of a skater who lets his skating do the talking: a Texas-raised member of the Mexican national team (@willcortez9) who earned his place through relentless work rather than hype.

It's a fitting debut board. Representing his mother's Mexican heritage, Will chased Olympic qualification with relentless drive, trains hard, owns and runs Cortez Skateshop, and gives back to the skate community on both sides of the border — bringing boards to kids who need them and volunteering his time. The Acta Non Verba is the board of a skater who shows up and puts in the work, session after session.

Built on a true popsicle shape with traditional 7-ply maple construction, the Acta Non Verba delivers the durable, sturdy, and poppy feel that's defined modern skating for decades — exactly what you want whether you're dropping in on vert, flowing the park like Will, or working ledges at your local spot. The medium concave profile locks your feet in for confident control on airs, grinds, manuals, and flip tricks.

With seven widths from 7.75" up to 9.00", you can dial in exactly the deck that matches your stance, your foot size, and your style. Each size is tuned with its own length, nose, tail, and wheelbase, so you get a true progression — not just the same shape stretched bigger.

Skate it hard, hang it on the wall, or do both. The Will Cortez Acta Non Verba is independent skateboarding the way it should be: real wood, real art, real work ethic. Let your skating do the talking.
